Welcome!

Thank you so much for being here! I’d like to start by sharing a little piece of my heart with you. The first photo you see on this page (those five goofy faces) is a photo of my siblings and I, taken during the last summer we spent all living in the same place. It was a beautiful, golden summer filled with beach days, family game nights, evenings at the lake, and so much love that my heart feels achey just thinking about it. My sister Savanna moved across the country about a month after this photo was taken and was married a year later; my brother Max graduated from high school the following spring, and I moved to Germany only a few short months later. Life has taken us to some amazing new places since we all stood together on this beach, but I miss these humans every single day. I would give anything to acquire a time travel device to toss us right back into this moment- and while I may not have the money or scientific breakthroughs or the appropriate DeLorean to make that happen, I do have these photos.

Time moves so quickly, taking us toward new beautiful moments and away from past beautiful moments. The older I get, the more I appreciate the way photography allows us to preserve the joy of both these past and present moments, no matter where we are.

These photos are treasures.

I recently discovered that my dad still carries my baby photo in his wallet.

My family’s refrigerator doubles as a photo gallery- precious memories proudly displayed for each person in search of a snack; countless conversation-starters for dinner parties, and a visual timeline of growth spurts, funny haircuts and happiness.

These photos increase in value as time passes. They are treasures; reminders of a different time, and a reminder of love.

My goal is to work with you to create an environment wherein you and your family can focus on each other; we want to highlight the connections between each of you and capture your unique relationships as they exist at this point in your life.

PACKAGES

A retainer / deposit and a signed contract are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the session date(s). All collection prices shown above include taxes. Travel fees are quoted on an individual basis.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?

I am currently based in Aachen, Germany; however, I also spend parts of the year in Halifax, Canada. My current travel dates can be viewed here; if your desired date falls a little bit outside these dates, don’t stress! Just let me know! If your booking is made far enough in advance, there’s a super high chance my travel dates are still flexible.

How does booking and payment work?

When you book me, upon signing the contract, you are required to pay the booking deposit/retainer. Your date is then secure! The only way to secure a date is to pay a deposit and sign a contract. To keep things simple, travel fees are included in the grand total outline in your session contract. Once the deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the session date.

Do you have backup gear?

Yes, absolutely! Your images are also backed up to multiple hard drives to keep them safe.

How are the images delivered?

Your images are delivered to you in an online gallery, with both high-resolution and low-resolution jpegs available for download and printing.

When are the images delivered?

Your sneak peek images are delivered first, in gallery format. These are delivered within the first week or two following your session. Your final online gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks following your session.
