Thank you so much for being here! I truly feel honoured that you have contacted me to photograph your wedding. I’ve developed a deep respect for the way love shapes us throughout the entire duration of our lives. This love comes in so many different forms- a mother who bakes your favourite cookies every time you visit home, a father who lets you know he was thinking about you by sending a text whenever he discovers a new favourite funk song, a friend who sends you snail mail- just because. These bits and pieces of love build us up and carry us through life.
Then you meet the love of your life; the different kinds of love that have shaped you and your person individually up until this point come together to create something entirely new and beautiful. And that deserves to be celebrated in all its radiance and glory. Those bits and pieces of love all come together on your wedding day as your beloved family and friends gather around you to send you off into a whole new kind of love. Everything and everyone that has shaped who you are and cheered you on to this point- it all comes together in a spectacular culmination of happy tears, happy embraces, toasts, cake, and promises of forever.

My parents had a cute little DIY wedding. They were just kids, and they were (and are!) so in love. They picked up their cake from Safeway on the way to the reception, my mom made her own wedding dress, and my grandfather (an amazing photographer and artist!) documented it all on film. And you should just see how their happiness makes them glow in those wedding photos. The truth is, the lavishness of your wedding does not define your happiness as a couple. Your day can be whatever you want it to be. It’s so easy to get caught up in the “shoulds” and external expectations when shaping your wedding day, but at its core, your day is about the connection and love you share. That’s it! That’s where the beauty really lies. So go ahead and order that gorgeous 5-tier custom cake or head to Sobeys and grab a few buckets of cream puffs. Both are great! The point is that you need to do what resonates with you and your values.
And I’m more than happy to be there to capture it all, and I’ll be cheering you on all the way along!

A retainer / deposit and a signed wedding agreement are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding. All collection prices shown above include taxes. Travel fees are quoted on an individual basis.
All three wedding packages include a complimentary engagement session within Nova Scotia! I know that posing for a camera can be a little daunting sometimes, so this is the perfect chance for us to work together and get comfortable with each other. This can be a cozy in-home session, a romantic beach shoot or whatever suits your style and personalities.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you based?
I am currently based in Aachen, Germany; however, I also spend parts of the year in Halifax, Canada. There’s a high chance that travel costs won’t be as steep as you think. My current travel dates can be viewed here; if your desired date falls a little bit outside these dates, don’t stress! Just let me know! If your booking is made far enough in advance, there’s a super high chance my travel dates are still flexible.
How does booking and payment work?
When you book me, upon signing the wedding contract, you are required to pay the booking deposit/retainer. Your date is then secure! The only way to secure a date is to pay a deposit and sign a contract. To keep things simple, travel fees are included in the grand total outlined in your wedding photography contract. Once the deposit is paid, the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding date.
Do you have backup gear?
Yes, absolutely! Your images are also backed up to multiple hard drives to keep them safe.
How are the images delivered?
Your images are delivered to you in an online gallery, with both high-resolution and web-resolution jpegs available for download and printing.
When are the images delivered?
Your sneak peek images are delivered first, in slideshow and gallery format. These are delivered within the first week or two following your wedding. Your final online gallery will be delivered within twelve weeks following your wedding.
